Stunning and Bleeding
The stunning box for cattle is separated from the corridor by a pneumatic door, through which the animals individually enter the stunning box. The design of the door prevents the animals seeing the process of stunning. Our stunning boxes are built for stunning with a pneumatic gun or for ritualistic methods of stunning (halal).
The stunned animal is hoisted onto the sliding rails, using an elevating transporter or chain-host. After an incision with a sharp knife in the jugular furrow at the base of the neck, the position of the animal ensures that it quickly bleeds out. We produce all the necessary equipment for the admission and transport of animals and blood collection.
