Dehiding
Dehiding is performed using the dehiding machine, which rolls the skin around a cylinder and simultaneously lowers the platform, where two workers make sure that the skin does not split and that the carcass is not overburdened. Due to the design of the process, the external part of the skin does not come in contact with the carcass, which prevents any possibility of meat contamination. The skin is then transported via a conveyor belt for further processing.
